We travelled to Eastleigh knowing we were in for a tough game, and it certainly was.
Despite the scoreline, the ladies can be really proud of their performance, especially in the second half. We caused Eastleigh plenty of frustration and they were only able to find the net once after the break.
The ladies held their own, putting together some really good spells of play and creating opportunities. We were unlucky not to get ourselves on the scoresheet, but the fight and determination shown throughout the second half was fantastic to see.
A difficult afternoon, but plenty of positives to take forward. We go again!
