Individual, household preparedness is the first stage to having a prepared and resilient community. When everyone thinks ahead and makes a plan it makes a difference to the whole community.
This interactive workshop will help individuals and households to start thinking about preparedness, by considering:
- What risks and hazards to prepare for
- What actions to take to be ready for the impacts
- What support is available in the local community
The session is for any individual or group that wants to understand how to keep themselves and their family safe, secure and healthy during an emergency. You will also learn how better emergency preparedness at home can help wider resilience.
