A fresh coat of paint and a moment of reflection at the Sherfield English Village Hall.
As we worked on the exterior, we remembered the incredible history behind these walls. The hall was gifted to our village in the 1920s by Major Philpot, built in memory of his son who lost his life in the First World War.
We feel deeply proud to volunteer our time today to preserve this building, honouring their memory and keeping their sacrifice alive.
